Last year we took part in the first Hell’s Balls Belgium, the Alcatraz Festival‘s little indoor brother (Isabelle’s report is still available here).
The event was a great success, so the organisers are back again in 2024. This second edition will offer twice as much music, as it will take place over two days. The date is set for 9 and 10 November 2024, still at Kortrijk Xpo.
The full line-up has yet to be unveiled, but the first announcements have already whetted our appetites.
On Saturday 9 November, Hell’s Balls Belgium will be hosting Triptykon for their only Belgian concert of the year, Dark Tranquillity, Primordial, Moonspell, VLTIMAS, Hellripper, Wolfheart, Dead Head and The Monolith Deathcult.
And on Sunday 10 November : Agnostic Front, Sodom, Sick Of It All, Baroness, Crowbar, Slomosa, Pallbearer and Murphy’s Law.
It’s enough to send us into winter with peace of mind, and to keep us waiting until the next Alcatraz Festival, which takes place on 8, 9 and 10 August 2025 (more info here)
